The crochet challenge...
This summer, white is the colour and white crochet is even hotter. Is anyone brave enough to rise to the challenge? I think only Twiggy could get away with it, but a touch of mecrame here and there would update the look.... hmmm - the jury's out.

I was almost sucked in by the white crochet number at TopShop. Upon closer inspection the true horror of what I was about to commit dawned on me and I left that dress hanging.
I think the white Miu Miu cotton dresses work better - it has got to be good quality or you just look like a doily. Also what do you wear under a crochet dress? Another slip dress? Not suitable for hot summer days
And don't forget Mrs Jmaes Bond's fab wedding dress as worn by the even more fab in real life Dianna Rigg. Yes James Bond was married to a crochet wearing woman, who would have thought it!
Yep - the doily look is not good...
I'm hitting the shops again tomorrow so will be posting some more fashion observations soon... :o)
I need to come to terms with wearing white before I could even consider crochet and those recent pics of Kylie in the crochet dress were frankly scary, who wants to look like Mia Farrow? but I saw someone wearing a cute crochet top with a pair of jeans the other day, she said it was from H&M for a mere £15!
